1. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing bridgesllm.ai, downloading BridgesLLM software, running the installer, or installing or using BridgesLLM Portal, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the site, installer, or software.
If you use BridgesLLM on behalf of a company or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.
2. What BridgesLLM is
BridgesLLM Portal is a self-hosted AI workspace that you install on infrastructure you control. Depending on the version and configuration you use, it may include a browser-based interface for projects and AI workflows, integrations with third-party model providers, remote tools, agent runtime features, file and terminal tooling, installers, and update or release delivery endpoints.
Unless we explicitly offer a separate managed service in writing, your deployment remains your responsibility to configure, secure, maintain, and monitor.
3. Open-source licensing
BridgesLLM Portal is made available under the open-source license specified in the relevant repository, release, or distribution materials. Your rights to copy, modify, distribute, or fork the software are governed by that license.
These terms apply in addition to the software license for matters such as website use, installer and distribution infrastructure, acceptable use, disclaimers, and allocation of responsibility between you and us.
Third-party components included with or used by the software may be governed by separate license terms.
4. Your responsibilities
Because BridgesLLM is self-hosted, you are responsible for how your deployment is configured and used. That includes:
- provisioning and securing the host, VPS, or other infrastructure where the software runs
- managing operating system updates, firewall rules, SSH access, passwords, domains, SSL/TLS, backups, and runtime configuration
- protecting your user accounts, API keys, OAuth tokens, secrets, and any other credentials stored on your systems
- deciding which services, providers, plugins, tools, or ports you expose or enable
- maintaining appropriate notices, policies, and permissions for any users you invite to your deployment
- complying with laws, regulations, contracts, and workplace policies that apply to your use of the software
5. Acceptable use
You may not use BridgesLLM, the website, installer, or related infrastructure to:
- violate any law or regulation
- facilitate abuse, harassment, stalking, fraud, or unauthorized surveillance
- generate, distribute, or assist with child sexual abuse material or content that sexualizes minors
- attack, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to systems, networks, services, or accounts
- misuse third-party AI providers or attempt to evade their applicable terms or technical controls
- process personal data without an appropriate legal basis or required permissions
- interfere with the website, download endpoints, installer, release infrastructure, or update services
We may block or restrict access to BridgesLLM-operated distribution or update infrastructure where we reasonably believe misuse, abuse, fraud, or prohibited activity is occurring.
6. Website, installer, downloads, and update infrastructure
We operate bridgesllm.ai and related infrastructure used to distribute software, publish releases, serve the installer, and support version checks, download delivery, update diagnostics, and related operations.
By using that infrastructure, you agree that we may:
- modify or discontinue website features, releases, installer behavior, or download formats
- publish new versions, security fixes, patches, or revised release artifacts
- record standard request metadata associated with downloads, installer use, update checks, and related requests, consistent with the Privacy Policy
- limit, throttle, or block access to protect the service, investigate abuse, or maintain platform integrity
You are responsible for reviewing any installer or update mechanism before running it, especially where elevated privileges such as sudo or root access are involved.
7. Telemetry and privacy
Our handling of website, download, telemetry, and operational data is described in the Privacy Policy. That policy is incorporated into these terms by reference.
In particular, BridgesLLM may use limited first-party website analytics, standard server logging, download logs, version/update request logs, and optional product telemetry for legitimate operational purposes such as software delivery, abuse prevention, diagnostics, reliability, and product improvement.
If a product setting, release, or deployment offers optional telemetry, your use of that feature is governed by the privacy disclosures and controls provided for that feature.
8. Third-party services and model providers
BridgesLLM can be used with third-party services, including AI model providers, OAuth providers, infrastructure vendors, package repositories, and other software or APIs. Those services are independent from us and have their own terms, privacy practices, prices, limits, and availability characteristics.
You are responsible for reviewing and complying with the terms of any provider you connect to or use with BridgesLLM. We are not responsible for:
- the conduct, availability, pricing, or policy changes of third parties
- output quality, safety, legality, or fitness of third-party models or services
- account suspension, billing disputes, or data handling by third-party providers
9. No guaranteed availability or support commitment
We may maintain the website, installer, releases, and related infrastructure, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, backward compatibility, or any minimum support level unless we separately agree to that in writing.
Features may change, be renamed, be removed, or behave differently across versions.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BRIDGESLLM, THE WEBSITE, THE INSTALLER, RELEASES, DOWNLOADS, AND RELATED INFRASTRUCTURE ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”
We disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, security, reliability, availability, or error-free operation.
We do not warrant that the software or infrastructure will be uninterrupted, secure, compatible with your environment, or free from bugs or vulnerabilities.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BRIDGESLLM AND ITS DEVELOPERS, CONTRIBUTORS, AND OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, REVENUE, GOODWILL, BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, OR SYSTEM ACCESS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE, WEBSITE, INSTALLER, DOWNLOADS, OR RELATED INFRASTRUCTURE.
This limitation applies whether the claim sounds in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other legal theory, even if we were advised that such damages were possible.
Where liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, our total liability for claims arising out of these terms will be limited to the greater of: (a) the amount you paid us, if any, for the specific BridgesLLM service directly giving rise to the claim in the twelve months before the event, or (b) USD $100.
12. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless BridgesLLM and its developers, contributors, and operators from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, judgments, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from or related to:
- your deployment, operation, or use of BridgesLLM
- your violation of these terms or applicable law
- your users, data, content, infrastructure, or third-party integrations
13. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms as the product, website, or distribution model evolves. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date on this page. Continued use of BridgesLLM or related infrastructure after revised terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Unless applicable law requires otherwise, disputes arising from these terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Virginia, and you consent to that venue and jurisdiction.
15. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent to support@bridgesllm.com or raised via the BridgesLLM GitHub repository.
